Il nostro gruppo di ricerca collabora con numerose università europee ed extraeuropee, tra cui: Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), Ural Federal University (Russia), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Duke University (USA), the University of Nottingham (UK), University of Southern Queensland (Australia).
Inoltre, il group ha collaborato in progetti nazionali ed europei con differenti compagnie ed aziende, tra cui: Hitachi Rail Italy, Frigel SPA, Whirlpool, Trenitalia, General Electric, Officine Galileo (ora Leonardo Finmeccanica).
