Alessandro is a PhD in Industrial Engineering, Assistant Researcher involved in the activities "Five Axis Milling Process Optimization" (2015) and "Strategies Development of Milling Cutting Process" (2014) in Nuovo Pignone – GE Oil&Gas.

The main goal is to relate Geometrical Errors on Free-Form Surfaces with Tool Wear, Cutting Parameters, Machine Tool Kinematic Accuracy. The research approach is based on a Virtual Reconstruction Method given by the integration of CAM/CAD software with developed numerical tools for data acquiring, processing and representation.

His interest in machine tool is especially motivated in the Industrial Prototyping.
