Francesco Rafanelli graduated in April 2012 inside MTRL and continued his research activity as a PhD student in the same research group. The main research field of his study is machining technology, focused on chatter modelling, prediction and active control.

He is a mechanical engineer with expirience in production tecnologies (mainly milling), design for manufacturing and mechanical design, including CAD/CAM systems.
